Missions
The Way LBK is called to fulfill God’s mission throughout the world and to participate in the United Methodist Church’s outreach across all boundaries that divide the human family. We believe that everyone is called to take an active part in the ministry of Jesus Christ. We send people and give resources to help meet all people’s physical and spiritual needs in the name of Jesus Christ.
Missions are a vital part of The Way. In addition to financially supporting selected missionaries, our church family is involved in giving their time, talents, and service to meet the physical and spiritual needs of people in our community and beyond.
The Bucket Ministry
Our mission is to share God’s love through the gift of clean, safe, drinking water. We provide under-resourced communities around the world with long-lasting water filters and forge.

Hands of Jesus
For the past two years, St. Luke’s has been sending food each weekend to 90 students at Cooper Independent School District who have financial challenges at home. If you are interested in helping please call or text Andy Hurst 806-445-1280
Mission Trips
In the past years, St. Luke’s has done mission trips to Mexico, Belize, and several Texas locations to spread the love of Christ. We have aided in construcion in Cypress, TX after a recent hurricane, as well as helped in homeless ministry in the Lubbock area, and several other outreach trips. Want to be a part of it? Bearing Hope Ministires
Bearing Hope Ministries, led by Bear and Caryl Mills, is a faith- based organization focused on spreading the hope through bible study, supporting schools, water projects, and displced peoples. They emphasize joy and purpose in a cynical world, often featuring Bear Mills as a speaker and author.

Real Help for Real People in West Texas
Supporting families and individuals in the Hub City area who are experiencing a temporary crisis, through financial support and direct engagement.
Wesley
The Wesley at Texas Tech is a college ministry that exists to make faithful disciples of Jesus Christ among college students for the glory of God. Wesley creates an environment where students encounter God, experience growth through Christ-like community, and are trained, mobilized, and sent to make disciples on campus, in their families, in their future careers, and in all the world.
Ten Thousand Homes
Every family deserves the opportunity to thrive, but 1 in 3 people across Africa are still living in extreme poverty. This reality impacts equal access to the basic human needs like nutrition, education, and housing.
We provide care for vulnerable children across Africa through collaboration with global and local leaders. Assisting with essential needs gives children and families more opportunities to exit cycles of poverty and build thriving communities.
